I’m a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and USA Weightlifting Level 1 Coach with a Master of Science in Exercise Science and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science. Before becoming a coach, I competed as an NCAA Division I Cross Country and Track athlete. My background as both an athlete and coach has shaped my approach to training: build a strong foundation, prioritize proper technique, and progress with purpose. I currently work as a Health Fitness Specialist Supervisor at the National Institute for Fitness and Sport, where I work with individuals across different fitness levels and goals. I also have several years of experience in collegiate strength and conditioning, along with experience in fitness testing, Olympic weightlifting, exercise program design, and individualized coaching. My coaching approach is individualized and evidence-based.
