Use Case

SCALE NUTRITION COACHING
WITHOUT SCALING YOUR HOURS.

A well-designed nutrition plan can serve dozens of clients with similar goals. Build a template library, assign plans in minutes, and add live Q&A classes for community and accountability.

WHY 1-ON-1 NUTRITION COACHING DOESN'T SCALE

Thirty minutes per client, per week, to review food diaries, adjust macros, and answer the same questions about protein timing and carb cycling. Multiply that by 20 clients and you’re spending 10 hours a week on nutrition admin alone. The content is massively reusable. A fat loss plan for a 75kg male with moderate activity is fundamentally the same for Client A and Client Z, but you’re building from scratch every time.

Most PT software makes it worse, not better. Nutrition features are locked behind premium tiers at £50–100 per month. Per-client pricing means your costs scale directly with growth. And the nutrition builder often offers little more than a macro target, with no actual meal planning, no automatic calculations, and no delivery pipeline.

Group nutrition coaching flips the model. Build a library of high-quality templates organised by goal, caloric range, and dietary preference. Assign the right template to each client with minor customisations. Deliver it through a system that handles invoicing and delivery automatically. Add live Q&A classes for accountability and community. Your time per client drops, and your revenue per hour rises.

HOW TO SCALE NUTRITION COACHING WITH NFORGE

From template library to paying clients in under a week.

1

Build Your Template Library

Start with three goals (fat loss, muscle gain, maintenance) and 3–4 caloric ranges each: 1,500–1,800, 1,800–2,200, 2,200–2,600, and 2,600+ kcal/day. That gives you 9–12 base templates covering the vast majority of clients. Each plan includes meals with ingredients, portions, and auto-calculated macros (calories, protein, carbs, fats, fibre). And for the genuinely individual cases, Forge AI writes a complete nutrition programme from the client’s intake — daily targets with meals portioned to meet them, allergies screened at ingredient level — ready for your review in minutes.

2

Build Multi-Week Programmes

A programme in NForge is a multi-week structure. Each day has slots for workouts and nutrition. For pure nutrition coaching, leave the workout slots empty and fill in the nutrition slot for each day. A 4-week programme rotates your daily plans with weekly macro progression. Build it once, then customise copies per client in 10–15 minutes.

3

Assign, Invoice, and Deliver Automatically

Assign the programme to a client and set your monthly price. NForge generates the invoice and sends it. Once paid, the programme is delivered as a professional PDF with every meal, portion, and macro breakdown. You never manually create an invoice, email a PDF, or chase a payment. Plans don’t have to stay 1-on-1 either: publish one on the marketplace and anyone can buy it straight from your public coach profile.

4

Add Live Q&A Classes

Create weekly or bi-weekly Q&A sessions, something like “Weekly Nutrition Q&A” or “Saturday Meal Prep Live.” Clients book and pay through the class page. At £5 per session with 25 participants, that’s £125 per hour of your time. The live element adds accountability, community, and a premium feel that justifies higher programme pricing.

5

Scale With Your Library

Every template you build serves future clients too. Every FAQ you answer in a live class gets more efficient. At 50 clients, customisation takes 15–20 minutes each. At 100, it drops to 10–15 because your library covers virtually every profile. The business becomes more profitable with every passing month.

THE REVENUE MODEL

Nutrition coaching scales better than almost anything else in fitness.

Nutrition Programmes

50 clients x £80/month

Live Q&A Classes

£1,083/month

Total monthly gross

£4,681/month

Your time investment: approximately 20–24 hours per month total. That works out to roughly £195–234 per hour of work, compared to £50–80 for 1-on-1 nutrition consultations.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need a nutrition qualification?

Requirements vary by country. In the UK, Level 3 PTs can offer general nutrition guidance. For specific dietary advice or clinical plans, a Level 4 Nutrition qualification or registered dietitian credential is required. Always work within your scope of practice.

How long does it take to build a template library?

Plan for 15–20 hours to build your initial 9–12 templates. After that, you add new ones as you encounter new client profiles. The library grows naturally and saves more time with each addition.

Can clients with allergies use group templates?

Yes. When you assign a programme, you customise the client’s copy without touching the original template. Swap out dairy, remove gluten, replace meats with plant-based alternatives. Macro totals recalculate automatically.

How does NForge calculate macros?

Add a food item with a portion size and NForge calculates calories, protein, carbohydrates, fats, and fibre automatically. Each meal totals up, and the daily total is displayed. Swap an ingredient and totals recalculate instantly.

NUTRITION COACHING IS A BUSINESS, NOT A BONUS

NForge includes the full nutrition plan builder (meals, ingredients, portions, and automatic macro calculations) at zero cost. There are no per-client fees and no premium tiers. Your expertise is the product. The platform just gets out of the way.
